Trekking Days…

How long are you walking for each day of your trek? During your trekking days you will be walking for 4 to 7 hours, depending on trails and altitudes with some rest and acclimatization periods. The daily routines begin at around 6 am with bed tea and washing water brought to your tent or rooms. After that you have to get packed promptly so that the Sherpas can start taking down the tents and your baggage while you are having breakfast. Morning walks are typically a relaxed 3 hours. Your party then rests for 1 to 2 hours for lunch. This is a good time to do your laundry, socialize, write in your daily diary etc.  Lunch is followed by another 2-3 hours trekking to your evening stop, where tea, biscuits, beer and more await you. A few hours later comes dinner and evening activity: cards, games, pool, relaxation, bar etc.
