Mountain Expedition : Nepal is known as Himalayan country in the world. Nepal Himalaya has norther border to Tibet. Likewise, the total Himalayan range run from karakoram in Afghanistan to Burma in the east. Out of the total Himalayas range 25 % of the Himalayas are in Nepal. There is about 1310 identified Himalayan peak in Nepal. Out of this 326 peaks have been opened for mountaineering and peak climbing. Those peak ranges from 6000 meters trekking peaks to 8000 meters expeditions peak. Mt Everest (8848 M) the world highest mountain and the third highest Mt Kanchenjuga (8586 m) lies in Nepal.
In fact out of the total 14 peaks above 8000 m in the world, eight of them are in Nepal. Besides Everest and kanchenjuga the other six tallest peak includes Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8481 m), cho oyu (8201 m). Likewise, Dhaulagiri I (8167 m) , Manaslu (8156 m), Nanga parbat (8126 m) and Annapurna I (8091 m) are others.
